Phil Underwood (Ti-Fer, ZigaZag, Zyderythmics) presents his new band, accordion pumping, fiddle bowing, passionate and energetic Cajun and Creole tunes and songs, spiced up with some new material never heard before. Staying seated is not an option when Colin gets his Crawfish cranked up and motoring. Phil gained his accordion skills at the feet of Louisiana greats like Marc Savoy, Eddie LeJeune and Bois Sec Ardoin; Charlie Skelton's (Acadian Driftwood, Famous Potatoes) fiddle is straight out of the Louisiana front porch tradition, while Peter Dunhill (Acadian Driftwood, Famous Potatoes) on guitar and Carol Wilson (ZigaZag) on percussion together lay down a dance groove we defy you to climb out from without ropes. Plus we've got some vocal harmonies too that will send you rushing for your handkerchiefs. And when Yves Langlois (Cajunologie, Hackney Ramblers) joins us with his fiddle you'd better have the oxygen standing by. Colin and The Crawfish - it's music to get your claws into !
